AmaZulu FC's former goalkeeper coach Aubrey Vilakazi is back in South Africa after a successful spell working with Mochudi Centre Chiefs in the Botswana Premier League. Vilakazi has experience working with numerous clubs in South Africa, including Orlando Pirates and Moroka Swallows. He joined Mochudi Centre Chiefs in January this year and helped the team finish fourth in the past season with the second-best defensive record behind champions Gaborone United. During his time in Botswana, Vilakazi received a call-up to the Liberian national team as the goalkeeper coach. He previously worked at AmaZulu FC as the Head of Goalkeeping, overseeing the club's goalkeeping department and implementing development structures. Vilakazi also worked closely with senior professional goalkeepers competing at the highest level of South African football. He is looking to make an impact in the Betway Premiership in the upcoming season. Vilakazi has previously worked in the junior national teams of South African football, playing a role in developing young goalkeepers in the country. He is still mentoring Nqobani Biyela, who is currently at Mamelodi Sundowns FC. Vilakazi's experience and expertise will be valuable assets to any team in the Betway Premiership.
