:Riaan !Hanamub, a Namibian international left-back who plays for AmaZulu FC in the South African Premiership, was honored with four individual awards at the end-of-season ceremony. He received the most consistent player award, coach's award, most disciplined player award, and president’s award.
Since joining AmaZulu from Chippa United in 2022, he has established himself as one of the club's most dependable players. Over four seasons, he has made 127 appearances, scored two goals, and provided 13 assists. His consistency earned him the captain's armband, making him the first Namibian to captain AmaZulu FC.
The celebrations continued after the awards ceremony as AmaZulu travelled to a six-team pre-season tournament known as KZN Premier's Cup (KZNP), where they were crowned champions. They defeated Midlands Wanderers 2-0 in the semi-finals before securing another 2-0 victory over Milford FC in the final. A goal by Sandile Mthethwa, scored in the 11th minute, and a second one scored by Khomotjo Lekoloana in the 43rd minute secured the trophy.
The Durban outfit also featured Athini Maqokolo (23), who won the most improved player award, best newcomer award, best forward award, and player of the season award. He missed only two league games all season long.
Namibian striker Bethuel Muzeu, previously with Black Leopards in the South African First Division, scored a hat-trick for his new club Sekhukhune United to finish off their first victory of the 2026 KZN Premier's Cup tournament.
Elmo Kambindu, former AmaZulu and Namibian international striker who is in search for a new club after an expired contract with AmaZulu, played as forward player in his current team Magesi FC.
